Another thing that puzzles me.. and I am a cradle Catholic of some age now. I've never understood the Catholic worship of Mary. I understand she is the chosen mother of Jesus. And to be such, she was conceived without sin. I have always thought of God as the one to go to in prayer, because God is God. He is the supernatural, all powerful being that made everything. So, I've never understood the concept of intersession. Intermediaries. I go to the source.

You are a gifted speaker. I have left a lot of comments since discovering your videos this Easter. A lot of angry comments over the homosexual issue. But I've been watching the other videos also. You aren't as dismissive or prejudiced as other Catholic podcasters. You are doing a good job. You are projecting a masculine, youthful, compassionate, relatable image of the church and of the priesthood. In effect, I think you are an asset to the church. Confusing. Why is God an adopted father? He made us. We wouldn't be here if not for His making us. So... we are just objects he made but not his children unless he adopts us as children? It's also confusing that Jesus is God's son, yet is also God in human form. These things annoy me.

It's so unfortunate how feminism has infiltrated the church. Yes, men need to lead like Jesus. Jesus didn't submit to his followers, He served them! Had he submitted to their "mission" it would have been a totally different story. Everybody was waiting for someone with a big army but he came as a servant and was adamant about loving and serving. He died for not being politically correct. Wives need to submit to their husbands (Under their husband's mission) and men need to lead with Love like Jesus did. I had a previous Bible Instructor that had been insisting that what happens after death is unknown. I ended up leaving this group because of this. After a few years of discerning this topic, I would say what happens after death is important even though much of us may be too focused on temporary things. After viewing Ascension Presents and Divine Mercy videos on UA-cam, my eyes have opened to the importance of Dogma and a conservative take on Catholicism. We say the Apostles Creed and Nicene Creed for good reasons. It is right to remember! God bless! 🙏🙏🙏

You're a handsome guy, so find a nice pure nun and be joined together in holy matrimony and bring beautiful kids into the world... just note though, that priests in service were not allowed to drink wine ... and I won't get into the matter of eating/drinking blood which is clearly banned in that "Old" Testament ... all the best

This has come at an interesting time. I am in constant battle with heartbreak, depression, sorrow, pain, disappointment, loneliness, grief, isolation, despair, and just an endless list of, well, mistakes that I caused. One of the biggest sins I engaged in, was participating in hook up culture- and contracting an incurable STD. Btw, this std was contracted after I had only been intimate with 2 people in my entire life. So, one can imagine how unjust it feels to go from virgin to being seen as vermin amongst the conservatives and by men at large. I take full accountability for this sin, mind you. Still, as much as I try to hope, not despair or feel destroyed- a former me has passed- eternally. The depths of my sorrow are unspeakable... So I can relate to knowing what it feels like to lose a "future that you dreamed about". When I was a little girl, I was the biggest romantic I knew. I always dreamed about marriage and what that would look like, and NEVER imagined going from virgin to STD just after two people. I don't have it as difficult as some people, but sometimes I want to scream at God... Which is irrational, because it was my fault. Anyways, misery is real. I don't know where I was going with this. I guess only to say that somedays it feels difficult to look forward to anything, when you feel like everything you ever wanted has been destroyed and taken from you. I guess it really is a testament to the strength and love of God that I am still here.
